It’s no secret that Gwalior has some of the best restaurants in Gwaliort, if not the world! Whether you are in the mood for traditional Indian cuisine or prefer something more Western, there’s guaranteed to be a restaurant that suits your needs and tastes perfectly. We’ve curated a list of some of the very best restaurants in Gwalior, so check them out before your next visit!

Pizza night

Alfanzo is a little-known gem of a restaurant that serves some of The Best Pizza In Gwalior. This Italian eatery has been around for over 15 years and makes all its food fresh. Whether you’re vegetarian or not, their menu has something for everyone. Not only do they serve delicious pizza, but they also serve calzones and a variety of other delicious Italian foods. Their pasta dishes are cooked perfectly and are served with an authentic taste. Their lasagna is cooked just right so it doesn’t taste like it was made from packaged ingredients. They have a great selection of desserts as well, including tiramisu and cannolis, which are both prepared by hand daily. If you want to treat yourself while visiting Gwalior, make sure to stop by Alfonzo!

Quick bites

Here’s a small selection of some great eateries you should definitely check out when visiting Gwalior, India. Whether you’re looking for a quick bite while exploring or planning a family lunch, these places will have you covered. If you are heading down to Varanasi then include these places into your itinerary. You will not be disappointed! The first place is located right at Godowlia crossing and is called Anarkali sweets and chat. This place serves traditional Mughlai and Gujarati snacks that would instantly transport you back in time. A little farther ahead is Laal Chaat, which specializes in South Indian snacks such as Dosa and Idli but has an amazing chaat menu as well (definitely try their pav bhaji). These two spots are both perfect if you’re just getting off a train from Delhi or Mumbai and need something quick before continuing your journey (or simply just need something to munch on). The last spot I recommend trying is one located inside Nanda Nagar market, about 15 minutes away from Godowlia crossing.

Breakfast spots

Start your day off right with a good breakfast. These are some of our favorite places for an awesome start to our day. Don’t forget some hot, strong coffee! 1) Coffee & More: This is one of my favorite spots for breakfast or lunch. The staff is friendly and it has a nice atmosphere. They have great sandwiches, but I usually get their french toast or pancakes (both are amazing). 2) Cafe Coffee Day: Another great place to grab a coffee and something light like a sandwich or muffin. It has free wifi so you can catch up on work emails before heading out sightseeing. 3) The Garden Restaurant: If you want to splurge just once while you’re here, try going here for dinner (they also have lunch). It’s pricey but absolutely delicious and worth every penny if you want to treat yourself!
